About LucKey Locksmith
A Jacksonville family locksmith company, proudly serving Northeast Florida since 2003.
Our Story
Founded by Mike Harrison in 2003
LucKey Locksmith is a local, family-owned locksmith company proudly serving Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding communities since 2003.
Our story began with our founder, Mike Harrison, who built the company around a simple belief: when someone calls a locksmith, they deserve honest service, professional work and straightforward communication. Over the years, Mike was joined by his sons, turning LucKey Locksmith into a true family business with deep roots in the Jacksonville community.
Today, we continue to operate with the same values that shaped the company from the beginning: reliability, fairness, professionalism and respect for every customer.
Our Philosophy
Locksmith work is built on trust
When Mike Harrison started LucKey Locksmith in Jacksonville in 2003, his goal was not simply to open doors or replace locks. He wanted to build a local company people could feel comfortable calling when they needed help protecting their homes, businesses and vehicles.
Customers often call us during stressful situations. They may be locked out of their home, unable to access their vehicle, dealing with a broken lock, or trying to improve the security of a property. Mike believed from the beginning that every customer should be treated with patience, honesty and respect. That philosophy became the foundation of LucKey Locksmith.
As the company grew, Mike's sons became part of the business and helped continue the family tradition. What began as a local Jacksonville locksmith operation developed into a family company capable of assisting homeowners, drivers, businesses, landlords and property managers throughout Jacksonville and nearby Northeast Florida communities.
Local Jacksonville Company
Jacksonville is our home
We are not trying to be a faceless national brand that happens to advertise in Jacksonville. LucKey Locksmith was built here, and our connection to the local community has shaped the way we approach our work.
Over the years, we have served customers throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas including Mandarin, Southside, Baymeadows, Riverside, San Marco, Arlington, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Fruit Cove, St. Johns, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra and nearby communities.
Being a local locksmith company means understanding that every customer and every property is different. A homeowner may need a simple lock rekey. A business owner may need help with commercial locks. A driver may need a replacement vehicle key. A property manager may need locks changed or rekeyed between tenants. Our goal is to understand the actual problem and recommend an appropriate solution.
Family-Owned. Family-Operated.
Our family's reputation is on the line with every job
Being family-owned is an important part of who we are. LucKey Locksmith was founded by Mike Harrison and has grown with the involvement of his sons. For us, the company name represents more than a business — it represents our family's reputation. That means the quality of our work and the way customers are treated matters personally to us.
We want customers to feel that they can ask questions, understand their options and make informed decisions without unnecessary pressure.
Honesty Comes First
Proper diagnosis before any repair
One of the values Mike emphasized from the beginning was fairness. Locksmith customers should understand what is happening with their lock, key or security hardware. Whenever possible, the first step should be identifying the actual problem.
A lock that can reasonably be repaired may not need to be replaced. A customer concerned about old keys may need rekeying rather than completely new hardware. A car key problem may involve programming rather than replacing several unrelated components. We believe professional locksmith service begins with proper diagnosis and clear communication.

Technology changes. Our values don't.
More than two decades in business gives our family valuable perspective. Lock technology has changed dramatically over the years — traditional mechanical locks remain important, while electronic locks, vehicle immobilizer systems, smart locks and keyless access systems have become increasingly common. Our approach has always been to continue learning while keeping the same principles that Mike Harrison established when he started the company.
Reliability
When customers contact a locksmith, they need clear communication and dependable service.
Fairness
We believe customers should understand their options before deciding how to proceed.
Professionalism
Locksmith work affects access and security, so every job should be approached carefully.
Respect
We respect our customers, their property and their time.
